medEdit vs Roadblocks

Mission Statement

Mission Statement
My primary mission is to create a document that presents your findings and ideas clearly and effectively. To this end, I will edit your document to ensure
  • Accurate documentation—by checking statements of fact against cited references and ensuring that the citations are placed correctly within the text
  • Clarity—by striving for effective organization of the text; by ensuring that all text elements (tables, figures, equations, citations, headings, sidebars, etc) are cross-referenced appropriately and consistently throughout the text; and by ensuring that any inconsistencies, ambiguities, or gaps are resolved
  • Readability—by using technical terminology accurately and consistently throughout the text; striving to achieve a uniform tone, level, and focus appropriate for the intended reader; adding previews, summaries, sidebars, and review questions or by ensuring that such existing elements accurately reflect the content of the manuscript; and by using good English (correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar)
  • An appropriate and consistent editorial style—Your text will be edited according to the editorial guidelines of the AMA or the targeted journal or other intended publisher of your work
All writing projects will also be carried out with the same goals in mind.
