How to Use medEdit

EDITING PROJECTS

  1. Read the Terms of Agreement and click on "I ACCEPT."
  2. Complete the form on the "Thank You!" page, and click on the "Send" button.
  3. Follow the instructions for submitting your manuscript (as a Word document), which appear below the form. You will be contacted by e-mail or phone to let you know when the project will be completed.
  4. If your editor needs clarification about portions of your manuscript, you will receive an e-mail with specific queries. Once we receive your response to these queries, we will incorporate your recommendations into the manuscript and complete the editing process.
  5. Changes are made in Word documents using Track Changes.
  6. The edited document will be sent to you as an attachment to an e-mail message.
  7. An invoice will be sent with the document or shortly thereafter. Invoices are usually payable within 15 days after they are sent. Invoices can be paid by PayPal, credit card, or check. If your institution requires a purchase order, kindly contact medEdit as soon as possible to let me know.


 

 
WRITING PROJECTS

  3. You will be contacted by e-mail or phone within 3 to 5 business days to provide details about your writing project. Feel free to contact medEdit at any time before or during that period of time, if you prefer, to provide details about your project.
  4. You may be asked to send a rough outline of the content desired and pdf files of references, if these are available.
  5. If you cannot provide references, I will do a literature search. I will make every attempt to find references that are available without charge. However, these are limited in number. Therefore, if you cannot provide references, you may be asked to provide a budget for purchasing them or indicate the maximum number of references you are willing to purchase.
  6. The completed manuscript will be sent to you by e-mail. An invoice will be sent with the document or shortly thereafter. Invoices are usually payable within 15 days after they are sent. Invoices can be paid by PayPal, credit card, or check. If your institution requires a purchase order, kindly contact medEdit as soon as possible to let me know.
  7. You will be advised to review the completed manuscript thoroughly. I will make one complete revision, based on this review--FREE!
